If you have not yet read part 1 scroll down to the bottom to find the autoresponder address and request it.
9. Send an automated reminder about your service or product. If a visitor has completed your email course but didn’t the product, you should continue sending them reminders.
You can also use these reminders to promote new products or services, as well as other affiliate products that you find useful.
10. Give Away free reports. This will give your visitor an idea of the type of information you offer as well as the quality of your product or service. Make sure these reports are not thinly disguised sales letters or you may lose a potential customer.
11. Come up with quizzes on your site and place the answers in an autoresponder. Your visitor will feel the need to request your autoresponder, and you will have captured the email addresses of those who took your quiz.
Or here is something else you can do. Introduce a contest and have all visitors who enter send their responses to your autoresponder. Your autoresponder can be set-up in such a way that it will send them an entry confirmation.
12. Make your product available on a trial basis or give your prospects a sample of your ecourse, ebook, software, membership, etc. Once people experience a little taste of something, they often end up wanting the main course.
This is a good way to capture their email addresses. You can configure your autoresponder to give directions on how to obtain their free trial, and then make sure they are followed up with until they purchase.
13. Link to hidden pages on your autoresponder. For example, a hidden page could be your affiliate page containing graphics, promotional articles, and text links that can be used by your affiliates. Inform visitors that they can get free access to your affiliate page by simply requesting your autoresponder. In this way you will gather a list of visitors who may be interested in becoming your affiliates.
14. Use an autoresponder on your order page. Display a request form for visitors to be notified of special offers or discounts in the future. This will create a very responsive mailing list which contain the names of your customers.
15. Display your links page on your autoresponder. It can contain up to fifty links that would be of particular interest to your visitors. It will be very useful to add your own promotional copy at the top or bottom of this page.
You have now clearly seen the many and powerful ways that you can make use of an autoresponder. I’m sure that you can think of many other brilliant ideas. I encourage you to use all of those and you’ll see all the cash that your autoresponder will make you.
