When we look back at the many creative geniuses in the history of mankind we see clusters pop up in spurts of time, where it seems that free-mind, innovators, invention and design prevail. In these past periods great leaps in science, art, engineering and invention are made. But how does this come to be?
Why is it that creative geniuses flourish at times and other times there are none? Well, a lot seems to do with rules, church and innovative buzz in the region. Another point is that creative genius would occur more readily in a free society, where the individual genius and lets for the sake of argument call them a .25% to 2% anomaly of a population base, was encouraged to create, think and innovate.
Even if a society did not favor the intellect or the innovator a creative genius might be outcaste from social normality, but still survive in a free-society filled with abundance on his own avail (wouldn’t starve) and thus free to innovate. Therefore in such cases the genius would more or less be relegated to the upper class where they would have the time and resources to innovate.
Yet the best atmosphere for the creative genius would be one of acceptance of the innovative mind, which would allow rich or poor to participate in invention, art, design, science and such. Thus in that situation the best promoter, marketer of their creations would have indeed an excellent set of opportunities and the creative genius in a free-market, free-society and free-thinking period would excel in all endeavors or create new markets, followings and perhaps even change the world.
This is not to say that it could not be done at other times, just that the proper conditions would provide a real advantage to even get into the history books as an individual influencer of the human forward progression you see? And therefore they would be duly noted along with the entire society for their innovative achievements and forward progressive thinking.
The question is how can we better our civilization and society to foster and spur on creative geniuses to reach for the stars in the present period? I certainly hope this article is of interest and that is has propelled thought. The goal is simple; to help you in your quest to be the best in 2007.
