Multilevel marketing, AKA network marketing came about shortly after the end of WW2.  Since that time this type of marketing has evolved into a billion dollar business.  If you are considering a home based business consider a reputable MLM company.

The two major players of multilevel marking were Nutrilite, now Amway, and Shaklee.

In 1945 Nutrilite became the first documented MLM plan.  The Nutrilite plan was a quota quota-based management system.  The distributors that sold the most boxes of vitamins got a higher reward than those who sold little.  In 1972 the Amway Corporation bought Nutrilite.

Mlm network marketing is really about trials and errors. I’d like to help you get the right tool to attain success on the internet.

Originally, I became involved in my home business because I loved the idea of flexibility. I was excited by the comfort of working from home. I wanted to supplement my primary income. I desperately needed to do something other than my previous job. After getting established in my business, some things went well.

I recently sat at my desk listening to a recorded conference call by Dr. Ellie Drake, another network marketing professional. It was an effective teleconference about developing listening skills and learning to connect to people with ease. The crux of the training call was the art of empathic listening.

Empathic listening requires you to ask a question and WAIT for the answer. But while you’re waiting, you’re LISTENING with the intent to understand, not with the intention of replying. Did you catch that? Listen with the intent to understand. Don’t listen with the intent to reply. This means not thinking about what you want to say while your prospect is talking. It means to really focus on the words they are saying and what is going on in their mind. Without judging. Listen to their words, watch their body language, and focus on the speaker completely.

Cold Calling is simply just a waste of time.

The sad reality is that salespeople in all industries still have this method of prospecting and selling forced upon them by there managers, or there up line, or whom ever they have to answer to on a daily basis.

Many friends have asked me, “What did I do right?” Thinking it through, I believe it is because of the following mindset and attitude, which I had armed myself with:

1. Keeping An Open Mind

I made an effort to understand the business and industry. At first I hear both side of stories, that is the successful and the unsuccessful ones. So after that, off I take action.

2. Asked The Experts or The Gurus in This Field

If you are currently spending your days calling from a Lead List in order to build and promote your business –then you are in for a big surprise! You may never get to where you want to be in recruiting a successful team –let alone bringing people in to purchase your products and/or services if you continue to buy into an old and archaic way of thinking that suggests this form of networking and marketing is the way to build your down line. I am always amazed and dumbfounded by not only the way most people build their teams in Network Marketing–but that a few succeed is nothing short of miraculous! MLMs have been around a lot longer than most people realize. More importantly still, –currently they are gaining massive attention form many of the Top Hitters in Wealth and Finance!

The important reason why you should generate your own network marketing leads is you can contact them immediately and remember that producing your own network marketing leads is very do-able. Industry Standard for Network Marketing Leads is depending on the brand and price of entry.
